Siddu Jonnalagadda, Srinidhi Shetty, and Raashii Khanna starrer Telusu Kada, a musical romantic entertainer, is set to hit the screens on the 17th of this month.
Ahead of its release, the makers launched the film’s trailer today.
Both actresses, Srinidhi Shetty and Raashii Khanna, appeared confident about the film and expressed their satisfaction with how it has shaped up.
Producer Krithi Prasad asserted that the movie is designed to appeal to all sections of the audience.
Director Neeraja Kona defined Telusu Kada as a character-driven film, highlighting Siddu’s role as entertaining and full of life.
“It’s a unique film that touches on a distinctive and trending topic,” she said.
Siddu explained that the team deliberately kept the plot under wraps until the trailer launch.
“We wanted to create a strong impact with the trailer. Initially, we had a different teaser planned, but later felt it was best not to reveal too much of the story, until the release of the trailer.”
While both the teaser and trailer feature romantic elements, Siddu clarified that the film contains neither kissing nor intimate scenes.
“One thing I told Neeraja before we started was that there should be no kisses. But by the pre-interval, we aimed to create a deep emotional connection, without relying on physical intimacy. This is a family film. Varun, my character in Telusu Kada, is radical. His thinking and ideology are quite exciting.”
Siddu also shared an interesting behind-the-scenes moment from the climax shoot.
“During the climax scene, Raashii Khanna walked off the set, saying she wouldn't do it. The shoot was halted for 30 to 40 minutes. She said, ‘If my boyfriend spoke to me like that, I’d leave him or kill him.’ I had to tell her that this wasn’t the moment to feel the character’s anger, but we needed to finish the scene.”
The trailer, which received an overwhelming response, has significantly raised expectations for the film.
