Raashi Khanna has been striving to secure a role in a Telugu film for over a year.
Her consecutive flops with "Pakka Commercial" and "Thank You" last year made it challenging for her to convince filmmakers to cast her in their projects.
She even auditioned for a part in Pawan Kalyan and Harish Shankar's "Ustaad Bhagat Singh" after learning that Pooja Hegde wouldn't be playing the main female lead, but the role eventually went to Sreeleela.
Despite approaching other filmmakers, she failed to land a new project alongside a prominent hero.
Finally, she has secured a role opposite Siddu Jonnalagadda, a young hero, in the film "Telusu Kada," directed by stylist Neeraj Kona.
The question remains whether this young hero can help turn her fortunes around.
