The shooting of "Pushpa 2" was halted last month when Sukumar traveled to the United States to attend his daughter's musical training course.
The film's production has not yet resumed, and as of now, a significant portion of the film remains unfinished. More than 60% of the filming is yet to be completed.
According to sources, it was Allu Arjun's idea to slow down the shooting because he wants the film to be released in April 2024, not this year.
Allu Arjun believes that releasing the film during the summer vacation period will bring in more revenue, citing the example of "KGF 2" breaking records when it was released in April.
The production company is now looking for ideal release dates for the film in April 2024. As a result, the shooting is progressing at a slow pace, as they have enough time on their hands.
"Pushpa 2" might set a release date in the second or third week of April.
