Pawan Kalyan recently stated that all requests for ticket price hikes should be routed through the Telugu Film Chamber of Commerce.
He emphasized that the Chamber should act as the central body to negotiate with the Andhra Pradesh government on behalf of the film industry, rather than allowing individual producers to make separate appeals.
Following this directive, producer A.M. Ratnam formally submitted a letter to the Film Chamber requesting a ticket price hike for Hari Hara Veera Mallu, which stars Pawan Kalyan himself.
Given Pawan Kalyan’s influence in Andhra Pradesh and his involvement in such decisions, Ratnam’s gesture is largely seen as a symbolic move to align with the new protocol.
Earlier, the veteran producer also approached Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy with a similar request for a price revision in that state.
