Prabhas may be making inroads into Hindi films now, but the Bahubali actor who will next be seen in the multilingual action-thriller Saaho opposite Shraddha Kapoor, is quite clued into the Bollywood subculture.
He recently made a guest appearance on the celebrity dancebased show Nach Baliye 9 with his co-star, and instantly had the audience eating out of his hands.
While he is known to be reserved, Prabhas broke character on stage to fan-boy over one of the show’s judges.
“I am a huge fan of Raveena Tandon,” he said, eliciting a response from show host Maniesh Paul, who remarked, “Laakhon ladkiyaan fida hain Prabhas par, but Prabhas fida hain Raveena par.”
Later, the Telugu actor was asked to perform on Bollywood songs, and he pulled off Salman Khan’s hook step from his 2014 chartbuster in Kick, “Jumme Ki Raat”.
He was soon joined by Shraddha and the show’s second judge, choreographer-turned-director Ahmed Khan, who then performed on Hrithik Roshan’s iconic “Ik Pal Ka Jeena” from his 2000 debut film, Kaho Na… Pyar Hai.
While we’re yet to see what Salman and Hrithik have to say about Prabhas’s screen impressions of them, from us it’s an ‘A+’ for Bahubali with the happy feet.
