Chai Bisket Films and Lahari Films are introducing another youngster Sumanth Prabhas as director with the film Mem Famous coming on 26th of this month.
The movie has big backing with Geetha Arts releasing it in Telugu states and Sarigama releasing the movie in overseas. Producers Anurag Reddy, Sharath Chandra and Chandru Manoharan say they screened the movie for distributors recently.
“They were completely happy with the content. Even the censor officials appreciated us, after watching the movie.”
The producers affirm, there will be another movie releasing this year from Chai Bisket Films and Lahari Films.
“When we planned to collaborate, we decided to make three movies. Writer Padmabhushan was the first journey and Mem Famous is second film came in our combination. We believe in each other. The third project is also getting ready for release this year.”
They declare to make movies mostly with newcomers and informs to have introduced a total of 45-to actors and technicians with Mem Famous.
“It’s a perfect youthful entertainer. The 23 years old guy played the character of a 23-year-old youngster.”
They say the movie is the story of the journey of three friends.
“Mem Famous is like a mixture of Pelli Choopulu and Jathi Ratnalu, though there’s no connection with these two movies.”
The producers conclude by saying the promotional videos got a good response with the presence of several celebs in them.
