Director Puri Jagannadh comes up with new podcast ‘Rape’, in the light of Hatheras Rape Case which shook the entire nation.
Puri revealing rape statistics in India states nearly four lakh crimes are happening against women in the country.
Talking about gang rape in Hatheras, he says, besides raping, women are tortured to death.
“Forget about justice to women, we are in a position to fight for justice in our country. There are a very few sincere journalists who combat every day. In our country, only ladies are fighting for ladies,” he affirms.
Puri also makes mockery of biased journalism in our country over several issues including Sushant Singh Rajput, drugs case, nepotism etc.
