Her husband, Ram Charan, has always been on her side and encouraged her not to be concerned about online comments. Finally, they will be blessed with a child.
However, Upasana claims that she is not becoming a mother to save her marriage or to give in to societal pressure.
In an Instagram post commemorating Mother's Day, she stated that she is proud to be a mother for all the right reasons.
"I am proud to embrace motherhood for all the right reasons. I did not do it to conform to society's expectations or to fit in. My decision to become a mother was not driven by a desire to carry on a legacy or to strengthen my marriage. I chose to have a child when I was emotionally prepared to give the unconditional love and care that my child deserves for his/her overall well-being. Celebrating my first #mothersday," she wrote on Instagram.
