No to Zoom-Ins on Body Parts: Actress

No to Zoom-Ins on Body Parts: Actress

Sapthami Gowda, known for her performances in "Kantara" and the Telugu film "Thammudu," has strongly condemned cameramen for zooming in on actresses’ body parts at public events.

Joining other actresses in raising her voice, Sapthami penned a note urging photographers to stop filming women from inappropriate angles.

She expressed concern over how such visuals are later circulated widely on social media platforms.

“Repeatedly, videos and photographs of female actors at public events are shot and circulated from inappropriate angles, with unnecessary zooms that focus on our bodies rather than our work. This behavior, carried out by a few individuals, is disrespectful and unacceptable,” she wrote.

Sources say the actress is particularly upset about paparazzi focusing on certain angles during her recent appearances.

Earlier, Bollywood and Tollywood actress Ayesha Khan had also cautioned photographers, warning them against filming her from behind at public gatherings.
