Has Chiranjeevi given an ultimatum not to release any of his films until September? This is the wide spread talk in the industry now.
His Lucifer remake 'Godfather' is almost done. Bhola Shankar has also completed a large part of the shoot. But the sources say that Chiranjeevi is not in a mood to release any of the films before his birthday in August.
His come back film Khaidi 150 was a massive hit. Though the story of the film was an average thing, the songs, dances and other USPs of Chiranjeevi made the film a hit.
But his 151st film Sye Raa became a flop in spite of heavy hard work by Mega Star. Seeing the result he has almost decided not to get into production.
Then his next film Acharya was again a disaster. So as per the sources Chiranjeevi is thinking to make the audience prepare for his next film forgetting the shock of Acharya.
So far Nithiin's Macherla Niyojakavargam and Bellamkonda Ganesh's debut film have announced their release dates in the 2nd week of August. Another two or three films are also getting lined up in this season.
So, all said and done, there seems to be no mega film in the next few months.
