With HIT 3 having completed its theatrical run, actor Nani is now preparing for a major transformation for his next project.
While the film broke even in the USA and Nizam regions, it underperformed elsewhere, receiving a mixed response overall. With its fate sealed, Nani is shifting focus to his next venture.
Currently on a trip to the USA, Nani is expected to return to India soon to begin work on The Paradise, a period drama set in the Secunderabad region.
In this film, he will portray a bold and rugged character described as a “bastard,” adopting a Hyderabadi Telugu accent to enhance authenticity.
Directed by Dasara filmmaker Srikanth Odela, The Paradise is said to be a mass entertainer with a unique tone.
Nani has likened the film to “India’s Mad Max”—not a copy, but inspired by its raw intensity and spirit.
He hopes this film will be his breakthrough on the pan-Indian stage. Though Nani has a solid following in Telugu-speaking regions, he has yet to make a mark in North India.
With The Paradise, he aims to expand his appeal across the country.
