Nagarjuna's latest movie is 'Ghost'. He pinned a lot of hopes on this film because he is releasing the film on his own in the four regions of Andhra.
Generally the heroes would take a single area if they held hope on the film. But Nag has taken more than one area on his Annapurna banner as a distributor.
In a way Nagarjuna received impressive remuneration for this film. He is distributing East, West, Vizag and Guntur on his own. He is also releasing the film in Hindi on his own expenses.
The Hindi digital, satellite and dubbing rights were sold out long ago. As the buyers have to burn some amount to release the film, now Nag is taking care of it.
So, by all means, Nag has kept his entire remuneration at stake for this film.
While this is one side of the coin, the film Ghost directed by Praveen Sattaru made its break even for Asian Sunil, Sarath Marar and Ram Mohan Rao with non theatrical rights. Hero's remuneration is not included in that.
So, entire Andhra is going as hero's remuneration while the amount earned on Ceded is going towards publicity costs. No the producers have the earning on Naizam in their hand.
