Naturally, expectations were sky-high that he would announce his milestone 100th film, King100, on the occasion of his 66th birthday. However, Nagarjuna chose not to make any official announcement.
Instead, he greeted fans who gathered in large numbers at Annapurna Studios in Hyderabad to wish him on his birthday.
It is already known that Ra Karthik will direct King100, a detail Nagarjuna himself revealed during a chat show hosted by Jagapathi Babu.
The buzz now is that the announcement might happen on September 20, marking the birth anniversary of his father, legendary actor Akkineni Nageswara Rao.
Industry insiders also speculate that the delay could be due to the script not being fully locked yet.
