Naga Vamsi Faces Heavy Trolling on Social Media

In Tollywood, big-star films failing at the box office is nothing new. This year alone, Ram Charan’s Game Changer and Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu ended up as major disasters.

Typically, when such debacles occur, it’s the lead stars and directors who bear the brunt of online abuse, while producers and distributors are spared.

However, the case of “War 2” has turned out differently.

Producer Naga Vamsi, who acquired the Telugu distribution rights for NTR’s Bollywood debut, is now the prime target of social media trolling.

At the film’s pre-release event, Vamsi boldly declared that if the film didn’t turn into a blockbuster, people were free to “scold him as much as they want.” His words seem to have backfired, with trolls taking him up on the offer.

Adding to this, his recent over-the-top interviews and statements; viewed by many as self-promotion rather than grounded in reality; have only intensified the mockery.

Memes, sarcastic posts, and abusive comments have been flooding social media ever since the film’s underwhelming performance.

Naga Vamsi, once regarded as one of the most promising young producers in the industry, now finds himself caught in a storm of negativity.
