Salman Khan’s Sikandar may have bombed at the box office, but director AR Murugadoss isn’t taking all the blame.
In a recent interview, the filmmaker; now gearing up for his next release Madharaasi; opened up about the troubled production and directly called out Salman.
Murugadoss revealed that the actor’s late-night arrivals threw the shoot into chaos, forcing scenes meant for daylight to be shot under artificial lights and fixed later with CG. He added that constant last-minute changes derailed the film’s original vision.
The director admitted that heavy reliance on green screens left Sikandar looking “artificial,” echoing critics who slammed its plastic aesthetics. With Rashmika Mandanna as co-star, the film’s failure was a costly one.
