The success of Mirai was celebrated today with a grand Brahmand Blockbuster event, attended by most of the team and several special guests.
Starring Teja Sajja, the film grossed over 155 crore in its theatrical run.
Director Karthik Ghattamaneni expressed his gratitude to the entire team for their hard work and dedication.
“I’ve always believed that cinema is magic. But after working on this film, I truly understood what that magic is. I don’t know music, I don’t know acting, but through this journey, I realized that cinema is all about collaboration and contribution.”
Producer Vishwa Prasad stated that Mirai was only possible due to the efforts of the entire technical team and called it a stepping stone toward building a global franchise.
“Jio Hotstar is a massive platform with the largest user base. From the feedback I’ve received, it’s very likely that Mirai will soon become the most-viewed Telugu film on the platform. I hope it eventually becomes the most-watched Indian film on Jio Hotstar.”
Hero Teja Sajja thanked all the guests for joining the celebrations.
“This event isn’t for us. It’s a tribute to the technicians. The film ran in theatres all the way until its OTT release. Holding such an event even after the OTT premiere truly deserves appreciation, and for that, hats off to Vishwa Prasad.”
The team marked the occasion by presenting commemorative shields to all crew members.
