Mani Ratnam is now abuzz with his magnum opus Ponniyan Selvan. The sequel of the film is yet to hit the screens. After a long gap he came up with his mega budget film turning the heads of all the film industries within India.
Now the sources from Chennai say that he is heading up to direct Rajni Kanth shortly. It is known that no film has come up in the combination of these two legends after Dalapathi in 1991.
Rajnikanth is now working for the film Jailer in the direction of Nelson. He has a commitment with Lyca Productions after this. Grapevine says that he would join Mani Ratnam after finishing his work with Sybil Chakravarthy's directorial.
We have to see what is in store on the big screen with these biggies.
