Making JVAS Sequel Is My Ultimate Dream: Dutt

May 9th happens to be very special date for producer Ashwini Dutt. His career biggest blockbuster Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari and National Award Winning film Mahanati were released on the same date in 1990 and 2018 respectively.

In a couple of days, Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari completes 30 years after release. Recently, they came up with a video to narrate the story behind how the film had happened.

Created history during its release by becoming a sensational hit breaking all previous records, Ashwini Dutt says the film remains to be one of the best Telugu films forever.

He also unveiled that making sequel for K Raghavendra Rao’s directorial is his ultimate goal.

“It’s my ultimate dream to make sequel to Jagadeka Veerudu Athiloka Sundari. My daughters are also very enthusiastic about the sequel. Plans are on for the same. We will divulge cast and crew of the sequel soon. I’ll announce my retirement only after making the sequel,” affirms Dutt.

Vyjayanthi Movies is set to complete 50 years in the industry. Their next film with young rebel star Prabhas under the direction of Nag Ashwin will be made as a prestigious project that is expected to set Indian screens on fire, given Prabhas's Pan India image and Nag Ashwin's track record.
