Mahesh Babu, Salman Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran have unveiled the much-awaited teaser of Adivi Sesh starrer Major in Telugu, Hindi and Malayalam languages offering Ugadi treat a day in advance.
The teaser minces no words in positioning the film as a befitting tribute to the 26/11 hero NGS Commando Sandeep Unnikrishnan.
The 94 seconds long teaser gives a glimpse of the inspirational journey of the army officer and his valor and sacrifice in the 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks.
It is clear from the teaser that the film is not just about the courage of the Major during the gruesome incident, but it narrates the life of the martyr from his childhood days.
When his father asks, why he wants to become a soldier? Is it love for the country?
Major defines that everyone those who love the country or patriots. “The one who protects these patriots is a soldier,” says he.
The childhood episodes of what inspired Sandeep Unnikrishnan to join army and his love story with Saiee Manjrekar during his school days are also shown in the teaser.
Sobhita Dhulipala appeared as an NRI hostage and the stunts performed by Adivi Sesh as Major are breathtaking.
When a senior official asks him whether he needed any back-up, “Don’t come up… I’ll handle them,” says the bloodied Major which depicts his fearlessness.
Adivi Sesh has simply lived in the role and he seems to have put in extra efforts for action episodes.
Director Sashi Kiran Tikka’s work is laudable, while dialogues by Abburi Ravi are stimulating. Vamsi Patchipulusu's cinematography and Sricharan Pakala's BGM are the big assets.
Major is set to release worldwide in multi-languages on July 2nd.
