Kannada film Su From So has emerged as the most profitable horror-comedy, surpassing the record set by Hindi blockbuster Stree 2.
Made on a modest budget of just ₹4.5 crore, the film has grossed an impressive ₹106.02 crore worldwide so far.
It continues to run successfully in theatres and has recently expanded into new markets with dubbed versions, including Malayalam.
Adding to its success, the film’s streaming and satellite rights have now been sold for more than its total production cost. Contrary to earlier speculation, Prime Video has not bagged the deal.
As per reports, Jiostar has acquired both the streaming and satellite rights for ₹5.5 crore plus GST.
