'Kingdom' Off to a Roaring Start in North America

Vijay Deverakonda’s much-anticipated film Kingdom has kicked off its international run with a bang. The North America premieres have already grossed an impressive $850,000, and the day isn’t even over yet.

With excellent night show occupancies and several key locations reporting full houses, Kingdom is showing signs of a terrific start at the overseas box office.

Industry trackers note that major centers across the U.S. and Canada are nearing capacity, signaling strong word-of-mouth and high anticipation among Telugu cinema fans and general audiences alike.

This opening performance puts Kingdom on track to become one of Vijay Deverakonda’s biggest hits overseas, especially considering that it is still to debut in India on July 31.

With strong pre-release buzz, star power, and a solid fanbase abroad, the film could easily cross the coveted $1 million premiere mark, a feat few South Indian films achieve in North America.

Backed by Sithara Entertainments and directed by Jersey fame Gowtam Tinnanuri, Kingdom is already being hailed for its cinematic visuals, intense performances, and emotional storytelling.

The coming weekend will determine just how far this film can go at the global box office — but for now, it’s safe to say Kingdom has arrived in style.
