Nikhil Siddharth starrer 'Karthikeya 2' is poised to become the most profitable Telugu film this year for USA exhibitors.
The film was sold to distributors and exhibitors for a low price. Their investment came back in just three days.
'Karthikeya 2' grossed about $600k so far. It is likely to touch the $1 million mark. The distributor will see double the profits.
There were many hits this year in the USA market including the mighty 'RRR' but none of them gave massive returns like 'Karthikeya 2' did.
Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, the mystic thriller also gave huge returns to the domestic distributors in India.
The film already became the biggest grosser in Nikhil's career and the distributors are in profit.
It will not have any opposition at the box office until the arrival of 'Liger'.
So, it will become a profitable venture this year for all parties in all areas.
