Age gaps between leading men and their female co-stars have become a hot debate lately; especially with senior stars like Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna romancing actresses decades younger than them.
Even actors in their 40s like Ranveer Singh and Ravi Teja continue to face criticism.
However, Tamil star Karthi feels the concern is exaggerated. He says audiences should focus on characters and storytelling, not real-life age differences.
“It’s just on-screen pairing, and we move on,” he commented.
Karthi shared his views while promoting his upcoming release “Annagaru Vostaru,” co-starring the younger Krithi Shetty.
Thanks to his youthful appearance, Karthi largely escapes criticism; despite being paired with Krithi Shetty, who is 25 years younger.
