On the surface, Janhvi Kapoor’s Bollywood career appears to be in full swing.
In the last few weeks alone, she has had two Hindi theatrical releases — Param Sundari and Homebound — and this coming weekend she’ll be seen in yet another Hindi film.
She is currently promoting her third Hindi outing of 2025, Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, which is set to release on October 2nd.
Despite the hectic promotional tours and continuous Bollywood releases, Janhvi has yet to deliver a major blockbuster in Hindi cinema.
In contrast, her maiden Telugu film Devara, though it featured her in a limited role, turned out to be the first true blockbuster of her career.
She then landed Peddi opposite Ram Charan — a project that looks highly promising and is widely expected to become a pan-India blockbuster.
Meanwhile, she has also secured one of the female lead roles in Allu Arjun and Atlee’s big-ticket project AA22xA6.
There’s no doubt about how significant this film will be for her career, as it is being planned as a global release.
So, when compared to her Bollywood run, it’s Telugu cinema that is actually giving Janhvi Kapoor her strongest platform and biggest breakthroughs.
