Nithin is so confident that the remake of Andhadhun will work wonders in Telugu market.
However, he couldn’t find a better replacement for Tabu, who was so magical in the original. He tried to rope in Ileana and Nayanthara who are in their mid-thirties now, but failed.
Ileana is not willing to do character roles at the moment and Nayanthara has quoted a whopping Rs 9 cr to play the role.
Nithin’s father is considering Tabu as the best available option as she wouldn’t charge more than a crore. However, Tabu looked very pale and dull in Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo.
She may not be able to recreate the magic of Andhadhun with her current look is what many feel.
Shriya, Priyamani or Mamata Mohandas would suit the role as well as charge less compared to the actresses that Nithin approached till now.
