Ram Pothineni had an image makeover with Puri Jagannadh’s iSmart Shankar that went on to become a big hit at the box office.
He is attempting another rugged character in Red that is in quite contrast to his usual lover boy image. However, Ram is not looking to play more such characters in the future.
In fact, he is looking to go back to doing family entertainers again. His next film is confirmed with Maruthi, who had recently proved his worth with Prathi Roju Pandage.
Maruthi thought of doing a mass entertainer with Ram, but the iSmart actor is in no mood to become monotonous with his choices.
Ram has reportedly asked Maruthi to come up with a family entertainer like Ready as such films are doing well at the ticket windows lately.
Maruthi is currently busy in penning another universal family entertainer like his previous film.
