Recent reports suggest that Trivikram Srinivas and Jr NTR are set to collaborate again.
Trivikram will first direct a film with Venkatesh and then move on to helm NTR’s much-anticipated mythological epic, God of War. This means Trivikram is likely to begin NTR’s film in the latter half of 2026 or early 2027.
Meanwhile, NTR is currently busy shooting for director Prashanth Neel’s film, tentatively titled Dragon, which is scheduled for a theatrical release in June 2026.
This raises the big question: When will Devara 2 begin production?
During the promotional tour for the Japan release of Devara, NTR reaffirmed that the sequel is definitely on the cards.
However, the uncertainty lies in whether director Koratala Siva will get the green light to begin work on Devara 2 before Trivikram takes NTR’s next film to the sets. And if he does, can Koratala wrap it up in time?
With several unanswered questions and a tight schedule, the fate of Devara 2 remains uncertain.
