Megastar Chiranjeevi starrer “Godfather” is facing issues when it comes to casting.
The makers have successfully roped in Bollywood superstar Salman Khan for a guest role. He will join the shooting shortly.
But casting for the characters of the Chief Minister’s daughter has become a headache for the makers. Nayanthara has been finalized to play this role.
Manju Warrier essayed the role in Malayalam. Vivek Oberoi played Manju’s husband.
Actor Satya Dev has agreed to reprise Vivek’s role in the Telugu remake. He suits well for this character as well, and he is a fan of megastar Chiranjeevi.
However, Nayanthara reportedly objected to his casting. She is said to have informed director Mohan Raja that Satya Dev is not a big actor to play opposite her.
Nayanthara already charges high remuneration to do this role, and she is now putting demands on casting a popular actor as her pair.
But the makers have already decided about Satya Dev, and they are trying hard to convince her.
