I Have No Dream Roles Left: Vennela Kishore

Star comedian Vennela Kishore is currently enjoying the spotlight following the success of Single, where he played a full-length role alongside lead actor Sree Vishnu.

His comic timing and performance have struck a chord with audiences.

Speaking to the media amid the film’s success, Kishore shared insights into the evolving landscape for comedians.

“With the explosion of content on platforms like Instagram and YouTube, where everyone is making comic reels, it’s becoming increasingly difficult for professional comedians like me to keep audiences entertained,” he admitted.

When asked about his dream role, Kishore revealed that he had already achieved it.

“Dookudu was my dream role. Sharing the screen with Superstar Mahesh Babu in such a prominent and lengthy part was a dream come true. I don’t have any more dream roles left,” he said with satisfaction.

He also responded humbly to praise from legendary comedian Brahmanandam, who once referred to him as the rightful heir to his comic legacy.

“Brahmanandam garu encouraged me with such kind words, but I don’t consider myself a big enough actor to be compared to him or to carry forward his legacy. I take his compliment as a blessing,” Kishore said with gratitude.
