I Always Try To Fight With My Fears: Trivikram

Fondly called as Maatala Maantrikudu (Wizard of Words), Trivikram Srinivas is one of the most celebrated writers, directors in the Telugu Film Industry right now.

He has made a mark for himself with his impeccable dialogue writing, screenplay and directorial skills. His Ala Vaikunthapurramloo starring Allu Arjun will be arriving in theaters in couple of days.

Trivikram says that Pothana’s poem is the inspiration behind the film’s title.

Like stars Trivikram also has fan base, especially family audience will always have expectations on his films.

“Audience love our work, but not us. I don’t take things seriously. If I do so, it will bring stress and affect my work. I always try to fight with my fears. After Agnyaathavaasi flop, I tried a serious subject. Coming to Ala, you will come out of theaters blissfully. It has all the commercial elements.”

The film’s trailer hints the story has shades of Karna’s life. “I don’t deny that. It’s because whatever the story you take, there will be inspiration of Ramayana or Mahabharata. It’s a completely fresh story and we didn’t copy from any old films.”

Ala Vaikunthapurraloo is third film in Bunny and Trivikram’s combination. About the differences he found in the actor from their first combination film to third film, Trivikram says, “He’s become more dedicated. His complete focus is on films and doesn’t think about any other things.”

Clarifying on naming his films with the letter ‘a’, Trivikram affirms that he doesn’t have any such sentiments.

Mahesh Babu’s Sarileru Neekevvaru will also be releasing for this Sankranthi. Trivikram states he doesn’t take it as a competition.

“After watching trailers of both the films, audience might have come to a conclusion that genres of both the films are different.”

Trivikram about his future ventures says he hasn’t yet decided. “I will make my next film with the hero who will be apt to my story.”
