Peddi Poster Awaits Ram Charan's Approval

Peddi Poster Awaits Ram Charan's Approval

Peddi is being planned for a June release. Though not officially announced, June 25 is the date under consideration. However, several key tasks are still pending.

The item song shoot is yet to be completed, and A. R. Rahman still needs to finish the background score for the second half. For that to happen, the film’s edit must be locked and handed over to him.

Given these uncertainties, Ram Charan has reportedly made it clear that no further release date posters should be issued without his consent.

He is concerned that if the film gets delayed for any reason, promotional material released too early could lose its relevance. Hence, he wants every piece of promotion to be timed and used carefully.

At the same time, director Buchi Babu Sana is facing challenges in keeping the project on track as per the planned timeline. These delays are raising concerns within the team.

Peddi is being positioned as a pan-India film, and Ram Charan is keen on making a strong impact in the Hindi belt.

For him, success limited to the Telugu market is no longer sufficient, as he has already expanded his reach and image beyond regional boundaries.

There are also external uncertainties. If Toxic, currently slated for June 4, is postponed to June 25, it could further complicate Peddi’s release plans.

Amid all this, the makers are waiting for Ram Charan’s green signal to release the next poster. That will happen only when he is confident that everything is progressing according to plan.
