HHVM Day 2: Massive Drop After Strong Opening

HHVM Day 2: Massive Drop After Strong Opening

After a solid opening day, Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu witnessed a steep decline in collections on its second day. Despite the drop, the film has managed to surpass the ₹50 crore mark.

According to Sacnilk, the film earned ₹34.75 crore net on Day 1, marking one of the biggest openings of Pawan Kalyan’s career.

However, mixed reviews from critics and audiences appear to have impacted its momentum. On Day 2, collections dropped significantly to ₹7.77 crore net, bringing the total to ₹55.27 crore net.

The Telugu film registered an overall occupancy rate of 21.71% on Friday, with evening shows faring slightly better at 27.21%.

A similar pattern was seen with Ram Charan’s Game Changer, which opened at ₹51 crore net but dropped over 57% on Day 2, eventually flopping at the box office. It remains to be seen if Hari Hara Veera Mallu can regain traction over the weekend.

Directed by Krish Jagarlamudi and A.M. Jyothi Krishna, the film features Pawan Kalyan in the lead, supported by Bobby Deol and Nidhhi Agerwal.

Set in a historical backdrop, the story follows the outlaw Veera Mallu in his confrontation with Aurangzeb over the legendary Koh-i-Noor diamond.
