A beautiful new chapter in Telugu cinema began today as actor Satyadev launched the teaser of Sri Chidambaram - a soulful love story set against a vintage village backdrop. The event, held at Prasad Labs, Hyderabad, was graced by the torchbearers of new-age Telugu cinema - Venkatesh Maha, Aditya Hassan, Vassishta Mallidi, Yadhu Vamsi, Sandeep & Sujith, Nanda Kishore, Sai Marthand, and Sinjith Yerramilli, who came together to support the young and passionate team behind the film.
Presented by Smt. Chinta Varalakshmi under the banner of Srichakraas Entertainments, Sri Chidambaram is produced by Chinta Vineesha Reddy and Chinta Gopal Krishna Reddy, with Chinta Rajashekar Reddy as co-producer. The film is written and directed by Vinay Ratnam and stars Vamsi Tummala and Sandhya Vasishta in lead roles.
The teaser offers a glimpse into a poetic tale of love and nostalgia, set in a rustic village world filled with warmth and emotion. With captivating visuals by Akshay Ram Podishetti, soul-stirring music by Chandu Ravi, and seamless editing by Anwar Ali, the teaser beautifully captures the essence of a heartfelt romance intertwined with mystery — leaving viewers curious about why the protagonist is fondly called Chidambaram and why he’s always seen wearing spectacles.
The event turned out to be a celebration of storytelling and solidarity among filmmakers, with senior directors and technicians applauding the debutant team’s effort and cinematic vision.
The film also features Gopinath, Sivakumar Matta, Kalpalatha Garllapati, Arun Kumar, Tulasi, Naidu Moram, and Shankar Rao in pivotal roles.
