On the occasion of Thalapathy Vijay’s 51st birthday, the makers of Jana Nayagan unveiled the much-awaited “First Roar” trailer, thrilling fans eager for a glimpse of the star's final cinematic outing before his political plunge.
The film is slated for a grand worldwide release on January 9, 2026, aligning with the festive season of Makar Sankranti and Pongal.
“Happy Birthday Lion,” declared production house KVN Productions in a midnight post on X, which quickly drew massive fan engagement.
The teaser, powered by Anirudh Ravichander’s energetic background score, features Vijay in a police uniform, sword in hand, walking with authority—a symbolic nod to his dual role as reel and real-life leader.
Within just 30 minutes, the trailer clocked nearly 7 lakh views, reflecting the frenzy surrounding what is widely believed to be Vijay’s final film before a full-time political career.
Adding to the buzz is speculation that Vijay may perform a nostalgic tribute track titled ‘One Last Song’, packed with callbacks to his iconic filmography.
