Farzi tells the story of a small-time con artist named Sunny, played by Shahid Kapoor, who is drawn into the dark while attempting to pull off a perfect con.
However, a fiery and unconventional task force officer, played by Vijay Sethupathi, is determined to eliminate the threat Sunny poses.
The series takes up the issue of counterfeiting, which is referred to as "financial terrorism" within the show, and has been praised for its content and performances.
