Facts Surrounding Sonu Sood's Tractor Charity

Facts Surrounding Sonu Sood's Tractor Charity

Actor Sonu Sood has done great charitable work during the corona crisis. He had helped thousands of migrant labor in reaching their native places.

He also fed many poor people in Mumbai city during the lockdown period. He is continuing the good work even after the lockdown restrictions are eased. We can say that Sonu has got a Real Hero image with his charitable work.

Recently, Sonu Sood has caught the attention of the media once again with his kind gesture.

He presented a tractor to a farmer V Nageswara Rao from Mahalrajuvari Palli village in KV Palli mandal, 20 kilometres from Piler.

This is Sonu Sood's response to a viral video clip of the farmer's family plowing the land and his two teenage daughters were seen carrying the yoke on their shoulders.

Sonu Soon initially tweeted about the farmer and he said that he is presenting a tractor and he said 'they deserve it'.

As he tweeted, he immediately arranged a tractor worth Rs.6 lakh to the farmer's family.

Many people are appreciating Sonu once again for his kind act. Opposition leader of AP, Chandrababu Naidu also jumped into the action and appreciated Sonu Sood by calling him over the phone while Sonu was on a live program.

His idea is to project to the nation that AP government is not doing anything good for the poor and deserving. He also announced that he will educate the two girls.

When Sonu Sood tweeted about the the farmer, the local MPDO got a call from CM's office to look after the farmer. When the MPDO went to the village and inquired about the episode he came to know about the facts.

Nageswara Rao lives in Madanapalle town and he runs a tea shop. He went to his native village during the due to the corona crisis.

The family wanted to have a sweet memory in their village so they tilled the land and they have taken some photos and videos. They have gone viral on social media.

The farmer is known to be a good person and he reportedly planning to give back the tractor or give it to the local Panchayat because he says that that the is not that poor to accept help from others.

His family is receiving several benefits from AP government from welfare schemes.

Nageswara Rao received Rs 13,500 last year under the Rythu Bharosa scheme. He received Rs 7,500 under the same scheme till now.

His younger daughter received Rs 15,000 from the AP under the Amma Vodi scheme last January. His elder daughter applied for Jagananna Thodu.

His mother is receiving a pension regularly under the Abhaya Hastam scheme. His father is receiving old-age pension of Rs 2,250 every month.

His family received Rs.1000 Corona aid, and free ration from the government recently. He has also taken DAP urea and, groundnut seeds from Rythu Bharosa center to cultivate his 2 acres land.

If we talk about the Sonu Sood's assistance, it seems that he appeared to have reacted emotionally to the viral video than rationally. If he had spoken to the farmer before sending a tractor to he would have understood the situation.

We can appreciate the kind heart and good intentions of actor Sonu Sood. But he to talk to the person before helping him because of the big amount Rs. 6 lakhs. He has to find out whether the person deserves this help or not.

If Sonu Sood helps deserving people it would set a good precedent and inspires many others to follow him.

If he goes on helping people without knowing their situation, it would be called 'Apatradanam' and it will have a negative impact in the society. Many undeserving people will come forward to seek his help.

He should continue his charity but he should do it in a more careful and organized manner.
