Baby duo Anand Deverakonda and Vaishnavi Chaitanya reunite once again for a relatable love story.
Aditya Haasan, who made his directorial debut with the #90’s Middle Class Biopic series, is directing this feature film. Sithara Entertainments is producing the project.
Today, the makers released the title glimpse. The film is titled EPIC – First Semester.
The glimpse opens with a convocation ceremony in London, where Vaishnavi Chaitanya expresses her thoughts on her ideal husband.
Anand Deverakonda then appears in a surprising look inspired by the legendary Telugu folk icon Gaddar.
A witty dialogue in the glimpse describes the story as featuring one hero reminiscent of Sekhar Kammula’s style and another shaped in the spirit of Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s characters.
Director Aditya Haasan continues the journey of the character Aditya from the beloved 90s series, bringing him back as the lead in this film.
EPIC is a heartfelt and refreshing soft romantic drama that explores innocence, emotional complexity, and unspoken feelings of youth.
The film is positioned as an “unfinished story” that unfolds with sincerity and warmth. Shivaji and Vasuki Anand play important supporting roles.
