Dulquer Salmaan who largely appeared in lover boy kind of roles will be seen as a gangster in his next release King Of Kotha which is releasing tomorrow.
Dulquer says he is not interested in doing the same kind of movies.
“I am mostly remembered as a lover boy. But there is no need to do the same stories and characters. As an actor, I have to play roles that surprise the audience as well as myself. That shift will be exciting.”
The actor affirms there are many elements that attracted him to do the movie.
“I liked the story very much. It’s a wonderful gangster drama. It also has a good friendship. Each character in the movie turns the story and narrative, which I liked the most. I like human drama and conflict which are there in the movie.”
Duqluer states he put in much effort for the movie.
“Director Abhilash Joshiy is my childhood friend. We have always wanted to do a film together. I usually do three films a year. But we worked for a year on this film. We have made this film to give a good cinematic experience to the audience.”
He, however, didn’t utter a word about Project K whether he is part of it or not, but stated that nobody in the industry had made such a movie before.
