Directed by Keerthiswaran and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Dude has emerged as the No.1 Indian film worldwide among Diwali releases.
In the last 24 hours alone, it clocked a remarkable 231.24K ticket sales on BookMyShow, reflecting the film's strong hold and growing word-of-mouth appeal.
The film also crossed the half-million dollar mark in overseas collections on its second day itself.
While positive word-of-mouth continues to drive footfalls, the lukewarm reception to competing Diwali releases has further boosted Dude’s box office dominance.
With Sunday expected to bring in even bigger numbers, and the Diwali holiday on Monday set to add another surge, Dude is on track to surpass Pradeep Ranganathan’s previous highest-grossing film in record time.
