Gross Direct Tax Collection Rises 30% in Apr-Nov 2022
Centre's gross direct tax collection has risen nearly 30% YoY to ₹10.93 lakh crore in April-November 2022, up from ₹8.43 lakh crore gross direct tax collected in April-November 2021. The Centre had set a target of ₹14.20 lakh crore for collection of direct taxes in Budget 2022. Total direct tax collection in FY23 till November 30 was ₹8.77 lakh crore.
