Producer Dil Raju is a big name in the South Indian film industry. He has a huge success rate. But his attempts to conquer Bollywood are not working.
Dil Raju stepped into Bollywood with Shahid Kapoor starrer “Jersey”. The film was also a remake of the Telugu hit by the same name. The Hindi version bombed like anything. Dil Raju’s maiden attempt was a huge flop.
His second venture is “HIT”, again a remake of the Telugu film, which is out in the theaters. Released this weekend, “HIT” starring Raj Kumar Rao and Sanya Malhotra, won mixed reviews and received poor collections.
The thriller collected Rs 1 crore nett on the first day. By the first weekend, it is likely to post three or four crores only.
As things stand today, Dil Raju will be having another disappointment in Bollywood.
