Entire Telugu Cinema industry has come to a standstill because of the Coronavirus Crisis.
Film actors are coming together to help daily wage film workers during these testing times. Not only the poor but also the rich are suffering because of this crisis.
Top producer Dil Raju had been hit hard by this shutdown. His V movie was supposed to release on March 25 and there is still no clarity on when it would come out. Vakeel Saab starring Pawan Kalyan was scheduled for release in May, but it won’t come out anytime soon.
Dil Raju had recently bought the Nizam distribution rights of #RRR for a whopping Rs 75 Cr and even that film’s shoot needs to be rescheduled after the break.
Dil Raju also has many theaters under lease across Nizam and Uttarandhra regions. All these theaters are currently non operative, but Dil Raju still needs to pay the maintenance charges and salaries for the staff.
No other producer is facing these many troubles at the moment. Despite the struggle, Dil Raju was one of the first among the film fraternity to donate big amount to CM relief funds of Telugu States.
