Allu Arjun is currently fully focused on director Atlee’s ambitious science-fiction film.
The shoot has been underway in Mumbai for the past couple of months, with the star frequently shuttling between Hyderabad and Mumbai.
Insiders tell GreatAndhra.com that despite its massive Rs 800 crore scale, the film is expected to be completed by July 2026.
Atlee will then shift his focus to extensive post-production and VFX work.
With Allu Arjun’s portions likely to wrap in the next seven months, the actor is already exploring his next project.
Today, social media buzzed with speculation that director Lokesh Kanagaraj recently met Allu Arjun in Hyderabad and narrated a script.
Reports claim that the story was originally planned for Rajinikanth but was later reworked with a younger protagonist and a romantic angle.
However, it remains unclear whether this meeting actually took place—and if it did, whether Allu Arjun agreed to the project.
Following the release of Rajinikanth’s Coolie, Lokesh Kanagaraj has been looking to lock his next big film.
Rajinikanth declined another collaboration, Aamir Khan stepped back despite initial interest, and Prabhas is tied up with other commitments.
Therefore, Lokesh is said to have approached Allu Arjun through Mythri Movie Makers.
When GreatAndhra approached the producer, he said, “Talks are happening. It may happen, but as of now, it is not confirmed.”
