Ever since the series was released, the anticipation for the sequel has been sky-high among the audience.
The audience and fans expected an update from Amazon Prime Video during their recent event but the lack of an official announcement left fans anxious about season 2.
However, Naga Chaitanya's recent tweet brought a glimmer of hope to fans.

His tweet has reignited speculation and excitement about the possibility of 'Dhootha' Season 2.
On the work front, Chay is busy shooting for Thandel, which is inspired by the 2018 incident, when fishermen from Srikakulam in Andhra Pradesh drifted into Pakistan waters by mistake and were taken into custody.
Directed by Chandoo Mondeti, Sai Pallavi is the lead actress and produced by Geetha Arts.
