Deepika Padukone has reportedly exited the high-profile film Spirit, starring Prabhas and directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, following disagreements over contractual terms.
According to sources, Vanga was surprised by the demands made by Deepika and her team, which allegedly included a hefty remuneration package, additional compensation after specific dates, and a strict six-hour workday clause.
Known for his uncompromising creative vision, Sandeep Reddy Vanga was reportedly unwilling to accommodate such conditions and promptly decided to halt discussions. He has since begun the search for a new lead actress.
Following her exit from Spirit, Deepika is said to have quickly shifted her focus to another major pan-India project.
Industry buzz suggests that her team reached out to director Atlee to express interest in his upcoming film with Allu Arjun, tentatively titled AA22.
Atlee has been in talks with several top actresses for the ensemble cast, with Janhvi Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur already finalized.
Deepika Padukone is now expected to join the star-studded lineup, adding even more star power to the highly anticipated film.
