Day 3: 'OG' Holds Steady on Saturday

They Call Him OG continued its strong run at the box office, holding steady on its third day after a massive start earlier this week.

The film earned an estimated ₹18.50 crore net in India on Saturday across all languages, according to early trade estimates.

The Pawan Kalyan starrer had already collected ₹103.50 crore net in India in its first two days.

With Saturday’s performance, the film’s three-day domestic total now stands at around ₹122 crore net, trade tracker Sacnilk reported.

The film began its journey with record-breaking premieres, pulling in ₹21 crore when tickets were priced as high as ₹1,000 in Andhra Pradesh and ₹800 in Telangana, with other regions also witnessing price hikes.

On Friday, OG registered a massive ₹63.75 crore net opening in India. However, collections dropped sharply on its second day, down nearly 70%, to ₹18.75 crore net.

Despite the dip, the film has maintained a steady pace into Saturday, registering a 42.08% occupancy in Telugu.

Worldwide, OG is estimated to have grossed ₹171 crore within its first two days plus premieres, with the majority of earnings driven by the Telugu market.

Collections in Tamil, Kannada, and Hindi have been moderate.

Directed by Sujeeth and produced by DVV Entertainments, They Call Him OG remains one of the most-talked-about releases of the year, with its first weekend expected to solidify its box office standing.
