Veteran actor Kamal Haasan took oath as a Rajya Sabha MP on June 12, supported by the DMK-led alliance.
He delivered his oath in Tamil, marking his official entry into Parliament. His daughter, actress Shruti Haasan, was present in Delhi to witness this proud moment.
Kamal’s nomination was part of a political promise made during the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
