Heavy rains and strong winds lashed the city, throwing their carefully arranged ceremony into chaos.
Sirish took to Instagram to share a photo from the drenched venue — a lush green courtyard with a glass canopy and elegant décor, now soaked by relentless rain.
The muddy lawn and wet chairs stood in sharp contrast to the couple’s dreamy plans.
Sharing the image, Sirish wrote, “Planned for an outdoor winter engagement. But the Weather Gods have other plans!”
The powerful Cyclone Montha, which weakened into a storm after landfall, has caused widespread disruption across Telangana, including severe flooding in parts of Hyderabad.
With the Himayatsagar and Osmansagar reservoirs nearing full capacity, the Hyderabad Metropolitan Water Supply & Sewerage Board (HMWSSB) opened multiple floodgates to release excess water into the Musi River.
