All films releasing this Christmas season, irrespective of whether they are small or mid-range projects, are generating buzz in one way or another. This is an interesting and healthy sign for the film industry.
Let us look at which films are creating attention.
Dhandoraa is one such film, featuring Shivaji in a prominent role. After his memorable performance in The Court, this film has naturally attracted curiosity and discussion, giving it a solid pre-release buzz.
Eesha is another project gaining attention, largely due to its producers Vamsi Nandipati and Bunny Vas. Having earlier backed films like Little Hearts and Raju Weds Rambai, expectations are naturally pinned on this film as well.
Next is Shambhala, which marks Adi Saikumar’s return in a lead role after a long gap. The film deals with a Hindutva-themed subject, and given the current trend, there are reasonable hopes riding on it.
The film gaining the maximum attention this week is Champion, starring Roshan Meka, son of Srikanth. After Pelli SandaD, and powered by the popular song Gira Gira Gira Gingira Girey, the film has strong potential to pull audiences to theatres.
