The charm of the 1980s cinema stars shone once again in Chennai yesterday, as the beloved 80s Stars Reunion returned after a gap of three years.
This time, however, the celebration carried a tone of reflection and gratitude rather than grandeur.
The annual reunion was postponed due to the floods that ravaged Chennai.
At the request of the stars, the event was hosted by Rajkumar Sethupathy and Sripriya at their residence, a departure from the usual luxury hotel venues, exuding warmth and simplicity.
Lissy Lakshmi, Poornima Bhagyaraj, Khushbu Sundar, and Suhasini Maniratnam curated the evening with deep sensitivity.
Thirty-one leading actors from Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Kannada, and Hindi industries, including Venkatesh, Chiranjeevi, Suresh, Sarathkumar, Jackie Shroff, Naresh VK, Bhagyaraj, Prabhu, etc. gathered to share heartfelt memories and words of support amid challenging times.
